World Mobile launches in the USA

We also announced that we’re launching in the United States.

This will show how our network can solve connectivity problems around the world, from connecting the unconnected in Africa to providing better coverage at a fraction of the cost in countries that already have Internet access.

Pledging to connect 1 billion people at WTDC

Our team headed to the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) in Kigali, Rwanda this month to discuss the biggest challenges facing the communications industry today.

At the event, we made great progress towards expanding our network in Africa and announced a bold pledge to connect 1 billion people by the year 2030.
