Frontier Drop One opens tomorrow, bringing World Mobile’s commercial expansion in the Philippines to AirNode Operators for the first time.
Before a drop like this, clarity matters. You should understand what you are buying, how the tiers differ, how pricing works and what happens after purchase.
We have also made the Frontier pricing structure stronger ahead of launch. The original pricing table applied the same quantity thresholds used for previous Operator devices, including Spark AirNode and EmberNode. Frontier works differently, so we have updated those thresholds to better reflect its pricing, potential rewards and the way Operators are likely to buy across the range.
Plus, Pro and Max now reach discounted pricing sooner. All three also include launch discounts. Fixed monthly base rewards remain unchanged, and no price has increased.
Here is everything you need to know before Drop One opens.
The basics
1. What is a Frontier AirNode?
Frontier is a Wi-Fi AirNode supporting World Mobile’s commercial rollout in the Philippines.
Each Frontier AirNode is associated with a connected customer location and operated on the ground by Community Wi-Fi Corporation. AirNode Operators manage their AirNode remotely and receive a fixed monthly base reward once the connected customer service is active.

2. Where does the Frontier rollout begin?
The rollout begins on Siargao, primarily around General Luna.
World Mobile has already announced its partnership with Community Wi-Fi Corporation and its intention to expand into the Philippines. Frontier marks the move from test deployments into a commercial AirNode rollout.
3. Who installs and operates the AirNodes?
Community Wi-Fi Corporation manages customer relationships, installation, network operations and maintenance in the Philippines.
eSariSari is the local consumer-facing brand supporting distribution and service delivery. AirNode Operators do not need to travel to the Philippines or install the hardware themselves.
4. Who can participate in Frontier Drop One?
Drop One is available first to eligible EmberNode Operators.
An EmberNode must be fulfilled before the eligibility cutoff. A reservation that has not yet been fulfilled does not by itself make the buyer an EmberNode Operator.
The Frontier range
5. What are the four Frontier tiers?
The Frontier range includes Core, Plus, Pro and Max.
The tiers use the same underlying AirNode hardware. What changes is the customer package, commercial environment, fixed monthly base reward and future usage potential associated with the AirNode.
6. How do the tiers differ?
- Core is the most accessible route into Frontier and is aligned with smaller-capacity commercial packages and suitable residential deployments.
- Plus is a step up in customer package, commercial environment and future usage potential.
- Pro is aligned with premium commercial packages and stronger usage-density potential.
- Max is aligned with the strongest commercial environments and offers the highest potential variable rewards.
Operators do not select a specific customer or location. AirNodes are assigned to appropriate connected locations as part of the managed rollout.
7. Why does location matter?
Location shapes the amount and type of future network activity an AirNode may support.
Higher Frontier tiers will generally be aligned with higher-value customer packages, stronger commercial locations and greater population or visitor density. That creates more potential for future public Wi-Fi usage, Wi-Fi offload and value-added services.
Future service availability and rewards will depend on deployment, actual usage and network performance.
Pricing and volume discounts
8. What has changed in the Frontier pricing structure?
The original table applied the same quantity thresholds used for previous Operator devices across every Frontier tier.
That did not properly reflect the different prices, potential rewards and likely purchasing behavior across Core, Plus, Pro and Max.
The quantity thresholds are now built around Frontier itself. Plus reaches discounted pricing from 6 units, Pro from 4 units and Max from 2 units. Core remains unchanged from 11 units.
9. What is the updated launch pricing?
The updated pricing is shown below.

Volume pricing applies separately within each Frontier tier and is charged marginally across the applicable quantity bands.
10. Have the fixed monthly base rewards changed?
No.
Core remains $17.55 per month, Plus $22.50, Pro $30.00 and Max $58.50 once the connected customer service is active.
The update applies to launch prices and quantity thresholds. No monthly base reward has been reduced.
11. How does marginal volume pricing work?
Volume pricing is applied progressively within each Frontier tier.
For example, a two-unit Max order would include the first Max at $1,940 and the second Max at $1,785. The first unit is not retrospectively reduced after the second unit is added.
Different Frontier tiers cannot be combined to unlock a quantity threshold.
12. How long will launch pricing remain available?
The launch discounts apply to the opening drops at World Mobile’s discretion.
No fixed closing date is being announced. Any future pricing changes will be communicated separately.
Rewards and future earning opportunities
13. How do Frontier rewards work?
Every Frontier AirNode carries a fixed monthly base reward once its connected customer service becomes active.
The base reward is determined by tier and remains fixed while the connected service is active and the AirNode remains operational.
14. What are future variable rewards?
As the Philippines network develops, future services are designed to create additional usage-linked reward opportunities through public Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi offload and value-added services.
These services are not included in the current fixed monthly base reward or illustrative payback calculation. They are not guaranteed. Availability and rewards will depend on service deployment, actual usage and network performance.
15. Which tier has the highest potential variable rewards?
Frontier Max.
Max is aligned with the strongest customer packages and commercial environments, giving it the greatest potential exposure to future public Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi offload and value-added service activity.
That does not represent a promise of any future reward level.
Ownership and activation
16. What happens after I buy a Frontier AirNode?
- Your purchase is confirmed through the AirNode Sales Platform.
- Your AirNode is assigned to an appropriate connected customer location.
- Community Wi-Fi Corporation installs and prepares the service.
- The connected customer service becomes active.
- Your fixed monthly base reward begins accruing.
17. How long will activation take?
Allow up to 60 days for assignment, installation and activation.
This is an activation window, not a promise that every AirNode will take the full period. Rewards begin accruing after the connected customer service becomes active.
18. What happens if a connected customer stops using the service?
The local operating team will manage the customer relationship and, where required, work to redeploy the AirNode to another suitable connected location.
Temporary interruptions may affect reward accrual while the connected service is inactive. Full operational terms will be governed by the Operator Agreement.
19. Do I need to manage the AirNode myself?
No physical installation or local fieldwork is required from the AirNode Operator.
Your role is ownership-based. You will be able to track your AirNode, status and rewards through the relevant platform experience.
Frontier Drop One
20. When does Frontier Drop One open?
Frontier Drop One opens on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at 16:00 UTC.
21. How much inventory will be available?
Final inventory will be confirmed when Drop One opens.
Not every tier is guaranteed to be available in every drop.
22. How can I pay?
Approved payment methods will be shown through the AirNode Sales Platform at checkout. Make sure your account and preferred payment method are ready before the drop opens.
Prepare for Drop One
Frontier opens the next international AirNode market after Pakistan and gives eligible EmberNode Operators the first opportunity to participate in World Mobile’s commercial expansion in the Philippines.
The pricing is clearer. The tiers are stronger. And the opportunity now grows more meaningfully as you move through the range.
Review the pricing. Check your eligibility. Be ready when Drop One opens.
