After months of field testing, research, and community engagement in Reno, we are now inviting individuals to actively participate in the buildout of a new kind of mobile network - one that is community-powered, reward-driven, and designed for long-term growth.
What We Discovered in Reno
When we began mapping Reno in 2023, we uncovered a broken truth. Even in a city bursting with tech optimism, connectivity faltered. Signals dropped indoors. High-traffic zones like the airport failed to deliver. We placed one radio on a rooftop and within 24 hours, over 10,000 unique devices tried to connect. Another test saw 130,000 connection attempts in just one month.
The demand was real. The gaps were deep. And the old telco model wasn’t going to fix it.
So we did something different. We asked: what if ownership solved coverage?
Why AirNodes Matter
The AirNode is more than hardware. It’s a way to take back control.
It connects people to World Mobile’s decentralized network using CBRS or Band 71 spectrum - licensed in Nevada, California, Utah, and New Mexico. It delivers high-speed coverage. It operates across rural and urban terrain. And it pays out rewards to those who power it.
