World Mobile has deployed World Mobile Chain, the world’s first dedicated telecoms blockchain, on Base, the Ethereum Layer  2 incubated by Coinbase. This marks a major milestone in connecting our communications-first blockchain to the broader Web3 ecosystem.

Built as an EVM-compatible Layer 3, World Mobile Chain on Base delivers fast, secure, and low-cost transactions, while enabling developers to launch decentralized telecom applications with ease. The integration also embeds Coinbase Smart Wallet into the World Mobile ecosystem, allowing users to join the network and go onchain - no extensions or seed phrases  required.

This is just the beginning of our collaboration with the Base ecosystem and a critical step in scaling the infrastructure forthe DePIN revolution.

World Mobile collaborates with Chainlink, the world’s leading decentralized oracle network, to  bring secure, verifiable infrastructure to our blockchain-powered mobile network. We leverage Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to enable secure  movement of WMTx across chains, expanding utility and accessibility across ecosystems.  Additionally, we integrate Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to introduce tamper proof randomness into the EarthNode selection process, ensuring fair distribution of  communications and services across the network.

Together, we’re building a more transparent, interoperable foundation for decentralised  wireless infrastructure, where every connection is powered by trust.

World Mobile has partnered with DITO CME, the parent company of Dito Telecom, one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing  mobile operators with over 13 million users, to bring affordable internet access and decentralized finance to underserved  communities across the nation. 

This strategic alliance integrates World Mobile’s blockchain-based DePIN model with DITO CME’s national reach, deploying  AirNodes, including some powered by Starlink LEO satellite backhaul, to connect the estimated 25 million Filipinos currently offline. 

At the heart of this partnership is DTaka, a new e-wallet platform built on World Mobile Chain, designed to drive financial  inclusion through a dual-token blockchain economy. DTaka will enable mobile money, remittances, gamification, and loyalty  rewards for users across the Philippines.

World Mobile has partnered with SEW, a global leader in AI-powered customer and workforce experience platforms, to deliver  next-generation mobile connectivity to SEW’s ecosystem of over one billion users in more than 40 countries. 

This global strategic alliance integrates World Mobile’s eSIM and AirNode technologies into SEW’s Smart CX platform,  expanding telecom capabilities within industries already served by SEW, including energy, water, and utilities. By embedding  decentralized mobile infrastructure into existing smart platforms, the partnership enables a hyper-connected, cost-effective  model for mobile access. 

In return, SEW will bring its suite of AI, machine learning, and IoT-powered analytics, as well as customer and workforce  experience (CX/WX) tools, into the World Mobile network and mobile app. This enhances performance, security, and  scalability, while delivering smarter insights for users and AirNode operators around the world.
