A carrier-unlocked phone isn’t tied to a single network. That means it can accept SIM cards or eSIMs from any carrier. This step is crucial if you're switching to World Mobile from a different carrier.
Check if your phone is carrier-unlocked in these simple steps:
On iPhone: Go to Settings > General > About. If you see "No SIM restrictions" next to Carrier Lock, you’re good to go.
On Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators and search for available networks. If multiple options appear, your phone is likely unlocked. You can also try inserting a SIM from a different carrier. If it works, you're free to use World Mobile.
