Today, we’re launching the EarthNode Agentic Ecosystem: a new layer of decentralized infrastructure that enables AI agents to operate with identity, privacy, compute, and payments, all backed by physical infrastructure deployed in the real world.
The launch extends World Mobile’s infrastructure beyond telecommunications into AI-native infrastructure, positioning EarthNodes as a foundation for machine-to-machine services, payments, and coordination.
A unified foundation for autonomous agents
Autonomous AI agents are real. They communicate, execute tasks, and transact without human input.
That capability already exists, but the infrastructure behind it remains fragmented.
Agents today depend on centralized cloud providers, disconnected API-based services, and fragile integrations. Identity sits in one place. Compute in another. Payments somewhere else.
These systems require infrastructure that can support:

We built the EarthNode Agentic Ecosystem to unify these layers into a single environment where agents can operate independently and consistently within the World Mobile network.

The four layers that power the system
The ecosystem is structured around four core services. Each one handles a critical part of how autonomous systems function.
- EarthVault provides post-quantum encrypted storage for agent memory and state. It ensures that data remains private, persistent, and secure over time
- EarthMesh enables private communication between agents: direct interaction without routing through public internet systems
- EarthCompute delivers isolated environments where agents can execute tasks securely. Each process runs in a controlled space, reducing risk and ensuring integrity
- EarthInfer brings AI inference to the network edge. It allows agents to process and act on data close to where it is generated, improving speed and efficiency
Together, these services form a complete operational layer. Agents can discover services, interact with them, and execute tasks without relying on centralized intermediaries.
Sovereign identities and autonomous payments: Now built into the network
At the core of the system is a unified identity and payments layer.
Every agent in the system is assigned a decentralized identity through the World Mobile DID framework. This identity is verifiable, portable, and consistent across interactions.
Payments are handled through WMTx. Agents use it to pay for storage, compute, inference, and bandwidth. They can also pay other agents for services or earn by providing resources.
Each interaction is settled through micropayments. This enables real-time economic activity between machines, where every task carries a measurable value.
The result is a closed-loop system. Agents consume services. Demand for WMTx increases. EarthNode Operators earn rewards. Infrastructure expands. More agents join.
Built on real-world infrastructure
The EarthNode Agentic Ecosystem is grounded in physical deployment. It runs on a network that already includes more than 130,000 AirNodes across multiple regions, alongside a growing layer of EarthNodes operated by independent participants.
Each EarthNode is a productive asset. It generates measurable activity from compute, storage, connectivity, and inference. That activity is recorded and settled onchain.
This structure connects AI infrastructure with real-world asset participation. It creates a system where digital activity is anchored in physical deployment and shared ownership.
Bringing fragmented systems into one environment
Several key capabilities define how this system operates.
- Security is built in at every level, including post-quantum encryption across identity, networking, and compute.
- Infrastructure is distributed and operated by independent participants rather than centralized providers.
- Identity is affirmed onchain for both humans and AI agents, enabling consistent verification across services.
- Networking is private, independent of public internet exposure.
- Payments are native to the system, enabling direct machine-to-machine transactions without external layers.
These components work together inside a single environment. Infrastructure, identity, and economic activity are no longer separated.
Development progress and what comes next
The EarthNode Agentic Ecosystem is now live on testnet. Developers and EarthNode operators are actively testing its core services.
Mainnet deployment is planned for later in 2026. The rollout will progress in stages, beginning with decentralized storage and networking, followed by secure compute environments, an edge AI inference marketplace, and agent-to-agent service interactions.
