Introducing the New WMTx Rewards Portal for Core Staking

Today marks a major step forward for those engaged in Core Staking via the Vault - a change that puts control in your hands. For the first time, you can claim staking rewards on your schedule.

Claim Rewards on Your Terms

From today, those using the Vault for Core Staking will be able to claim rewards themselves using a new platform powered by SundaeSwap. The system is designed to be simple, secure, and reliable.

Here’s what you need to know:

• For the staking period ending June 1, 2025, rewards will be claimable starting June 9, 2025

• For subsequent staking periods, rewards will be available to claim 72 hours after the period ends

• A small ADA gas fee will apply to each claim

• You can claim rewards for a single staking period or allow them to accrue over multiple periods before claiming

Important: We will introduce an expiry date for rewards when we launch EarthDAO Staking. Stay tuned for more updates.

This change applies only to Core Staking via the Vault. If you are staking on EVM, no action is required - your process stays the same.

How to Claim Your Rewards

Once rewards are ready:

• Check the Vault: The Claim Rewards button will become active when your rewards are available.

• Click to Claim: You will be redirected to the SundaeSwap-powered WMTx Rewards Portal.

• Connect Your Wallet: Connect the same wallet you verified in the Vault. If it’s not the correct wallet, you will be prompted to switch.

• Review Your Rewards: View your estimated Core Staking rewards, claimed balance, and unclaimed balance.

• Claim: Choose when to claim. Remember, a small ADA fee applies per claim.

• Important: You’ll need the browser extension version of either the Eternl or Lace wallet to connect. If you do not have the extension, you can import your existing Cardano wallet to proceed. Make sure you connect the same wallet that you have verified in the Vault.

Once claimed, your rewards will be sent directly to your wallet as WMTx.

Note: Claiming rewards does not affect your ongoing stake. As long as your balance remains above the snapshot amount, your stake in the Vault will continue uninterrupted.
