We’ve launched our mobile network across the U.S., blending CBRS (3550 MHz band 48) and low-band 71 (600 MHz) spectrum to deliver high-speed LTE coverage today, with 5G coming soon. But this launch isn’t just about better coverage. It’s about giving people a say in how that coverage works. Who benefits. And who owns it.
On June 28, 2023, we secured the spectrum agreements needed to operate across the country. A few days later, on July 3, we claimed our Mobile Network Code. Since then, we’ve been building - designing a mobile network that connects with our global, decentralized architecture while offering international roaming straight out of the box.
Today at Rare Evo in Denver, we showed what that future looks like.
Introducing the World Mobile eSIM
The World Mobile eSIM is now live. It’s data-only, built for seamless travel, and ready to work across 45 countries from day one. At home or abroad, it gives you access to fast, affordable data - even in the places traditional networks leave behind, powered by World Mobile AirNodes.
It’s also the first eSIM that allows people to stake tokens and earn rewards directly through their mobile connection. That means you don’t just use the network - you help power it and benefit from its growth.
