Through several releases, we addressed different elements of the network. One release made the phone plans more competitive. Another enabled Hex Operators to better align incentives with subscribers. The most recent upgrade improved how AirNodes are sold and managed inside the ecosystem.
Together, these pieces have updated the operating system for decentralized telecom participation, at scale.
The tools are live.
The system is operational.
The network is ready to grow.

February: A Month of Engine-Building
The previous Network Builder auctions closed in January. Since then, the focus has been straightforward: build the engines that power the network and reinforce the systems that enable Hex Operators to turn Hex ownership into real network expansion.
This building phase was accompanied by steady growth in the ecosystem.
6,956 AirNodes were deployed.
155 Hex NFTs were awarded.
While the network continued to grow on the ground, we focused on strengthening the core systems that make that growth sustainable.
The Engines Behind the Network Builder
A decentralized telecom network grows through coordination. Infrastructure must be built where it is needed. Subscribers must join the network. Incentives must reward the people who keep the system moving.
Over the past month, three key launches have prepared the Network Builder for its next phase of growth.
New World Mobile Phone Plans: Simple Structure, Smarter Pricing
Earlier in February, we introduced four new World Mobile phone plans in the USA. The new lineup replaces the previous plans with a clearer structure and smarter pricing.
The plans simplify how people join the network and serve as the subscriber engine for the Network Builder.
Network Builder Affiliate Program: Grow the Network, Earn Rewards
Later in February, we launched the Network Builder affiliate program.
Hex Operators can now earn milestone-based rewards by onboarding subscribers who stay with World Mobile. The model rewards retention over one-time signups.
Hex Operators can earn up to 5% rewards from the subscription revenue of the phone plans activated through their affiliate code. In addition, Hex Operators qualify for Enhanced Affiliate Rewards of up to $60 per activated subscriber, depending on the phone plan selected and how long the subscriber remains active.
For Hex Operators, this creates a measurable way to grow subscriber adoption inside a Hex. Adoption becomes repeatable and easier to track as the network grows. This is the growth engine of the network.
A New AirNode Platform: Built for Builders, Engineered for Scale
AirNodes are the deployment engines of the Network Builder. They are the infrastructure providing World Mobile coverage.
Earlier this week, we announced a new AirNode Platform to support the next phase of that deployment.
The new Platform introduces a clearer interface, cleaner drop mechanics, and a smoother checkout experience for Operators expanding infrastructure.
AirNode Operators can now:
- Track AirNode allocation
- Monitor deployment status
- Manage participation through a structured dashboard
As more Hexes are claimed across the map, Hex Operators will also be able to manage and deploy AirNode drops within their own Hexes using the same platform architecture.
The Participation Layer Returns
With these pieces in place, the decentralized participation layer of the network is ready to accelerate. That layer is the Network Builder.
The Network Builder is a platform that equips entrepreneurs to participate in the geographic expansion of the World Mobile network. Through a structured auction process, participants can bid for operating rights to Hexes on the map.
The people who win those auctions become Hex Operators.
From there, the real journey begins. Activate the Hex. Grow subscriber acquisition locally. Deploy AirNodes. As activity inside the Hex increases, the economic opportunity of that Hex increases in tandem.
This simple structure carries immense power.

The Network Builder functions as the operating system of decentralized telecom growth. It coordinates the people expanding the network, the infrastructure delivering coverage, the subscribers joining the network, and the rewards that sustain growth across Hexes.
