Hitting unstoppable momentum in telecom is rarely about a single breakthrough moment. It is built piece by piece, through thousands of deliberate actions, repeated over time, by people who believe that connectivity should be grown with communities rather than dictated to them from above.
Today, two milestones reflect how far this approach has carried us.
Over 100,000 AirNodes are now installed globally, and 3 million Daily Active Users benefit from the World Mobile network every day as part of their normal lives.
These two numbers matter because taken together, they paint a picture of iron-clad trust earned through consistent delivery. They show that when people are given the tools and responsibility to build telecom infrastructure worldwide, and when that infrastructure proves its power, the result is a network that grows steadily and gets stronger with time.
This is unstoppable momentum in practice.
100,000 AirNodes worldwide: The decentralization of telecom infrastructure at scale

With 100,000 AirNodes installed worldwide, the network has reached a level of global presence that can only come from consistent effort and coordination.
Each AirNode represents work that had to be done on site. Equipment had to be installed, powered, and kept online. Coverage had to remain reliable, not for a test period, but day after day, as people began to depend on the signal for essential parts of their daily lives, such as education.
This milestone reflects the contribution of AirNode Operators who have kept each device online, Hosts who opened up their locations, and local partners who helped move installations forward across different environments and continents. It justifies the discipline required to grow infrastructure responsibly, where reliability matters as much as reach.
As deployments have scaled, the network has gained resilience. Each new AirNode has strengthened local coverage while reinforcing the broader system, allowing growth to continue while keeping performance intact.
3 million Daily Active Users: The demand for the network is higher than ever
Reaching 3 million Daily Active Users demonstrates how deeply the network has become integrated into the everyday life of our subscribers.
Daily usage at this scale shows that people rely on the network consistently, not as an experiment or occasional alternative, but as part of their day-to-day lives. Calls are made, data is used, and essential services are accessed throughout the day, month, and year, across several radically different continents, environments, and use cases.
To place that number in context, Messari estimated that around 13 million devices contribute daily activity to DePIN in its January 6, 2025 DePIN report. Within that landscape, 3 million daily users represent a meaningful share of real-world participation.
Against every reliable benchmark, World Mobile’s daily usage reflects both strong demand and consistent execution to match. The story of how we got here runs through the AirNode journey that began with early validation and grew into global participation.
From Zanzibar to the world: The World Mobile AirNode journey
The journey to 100,000 AirNodes and 3 million daily active users was built gradually, shaped by lessons learned in very different environments.
In Zanzibar, early AirNode deployments helped validate our model in the field and shaped how we think about rollout, reliability, and what communities actually need once coverage arrives. Over 700 AirNodes have been deployed across the island, an important example of practical infrastructure that meets where the demand exists.

From Zanzibar, with our partners, WorldCall, we established a foundation in Pakistan, rolling out further installations at increasing pace, and strengthening the deployment playbook across new environments and encountering new operational demands.
The inflection point came with our launch in Reno, USA. On 28 February 2024, we opened sales for the first batch of cellular AirNodes in Reno, Nevada, by launching the AirNode Sales Platform.

A few months after the successful launch of the AirNode Sales Platform, and following multiple sell-out AirNode drops, we launched our most-affordable AirNode yet. The Spark AirNode premiered on 3 December 2024, a compact, powerful piece of hardware starting from just $62.99 that was built to power connectivity at scale across Pakistan.
Over 2025, Spark AirNode drops in Pakistan have sold out in the thousands, reflecting both demand and the growing ability to deploy at higher volume. Meanwhile, in the United States, Titan AirNodes have expanded necessary ‘overwatch’ coverage and played a key role in strengthening cellular connectivity for World Mobile phone plan users as the network scaled.
As AirNodes have expanded across different regions and deployment contexts, one pattern has become increasingly clear. Connectivity challenges are apparent regardless of wealth or status. A bad connection can surface wherever legacy infrastructure struggles to keep pace with real demand. Resolving connectivity problems depends less on demographic differences and more on how quickly someone can take action on the ground.
This fact became apparent to us in Hidden Hills, California.
Hidden Hills, Los Angeles: The Tristan Thompson Case Study
Hidden Hills sits in the Calabasas area of Los Angeles County, and is widely known as one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the region. Yet, the day-to-day experience of mobile connectivity there revealed the same frustrations found in many other places, including dropped calls and inconsistent service that interrupted normal use.
After NBA Champion Tristan Thompson spoke up about these issues in his own community, we worked with him to install a Portal 360 AirNode on his rooftop, strengthening local coverage for him and his neighbors. The deployment showed how on-the-ground action can resolve connectivity problems quickly and effectively, regardless of wealth or status. Hidden Hills taught us that even the most privileged members of society need to reclaim power over their connectivity.

Network Builder: The growth engine for what comes next

Both milestones - 100,000 AirNodes installed and 3 million Daily Active Users - show that the network has reached formidable scale through steady execution and shared responsibility. Network Builder is designed to take that proven foundation and turn it into a repeatable growth engine, giving more people a clear way to participate in expanding the network with structure and accountability.
We launched Network Builder on December 22, 2025, opening the auction process. In January 2026, the first live auction batch closed with 50 Hexes claimed across 13 USA states and 18 Hex Operators stepping forward. That early participation reflects confidence in a framework built to support sustained expansion.

At its core, Network Builder organizes how the network scales. Hex Operators take responsibility for surveying demand and managing AirNode deployment within defined areas. Hosts provide real-world locations. Agents support execution on the ground. Affiliate marketers help bring new subscribers into the network.
This structure enables progress to compound. With infrastructure already deployed and daily demand already proven, Network Builder creates a pathway for scaling from thousands of AirNodes to even greater density, from millions of daily users to many times more, without losing the discipline that made the network function in the first place.
This is how decentralized telecom grows beyond early validation and into long-term success. Infrastructure comes first, usage proves that it can scale, and a purpose-built growth engine allows it to explode worldwide with laser-focused intent. With Network Builder, World Mobile is positioned to keep growing, keep scaling, keep powering through with unstoppable momentum, guided by the same principles that built its foundational success.
Reclaim power. Build the network. Scale it together to even greater heights.
