Telecom and finance – two industries we depend on - were not designed to work together. Each developed in isolation. When left unchecked, each excludes people in different ways. And under legacy networks, the cost of that disconnect has historically fallen on the same communities: the ones left without coverage, without access, without power.
World Mobile and Zebec are changing that status quo. Together, we’re launching ZebecNET, a decentralized mobile network that combines mobile coverage and real-time finance into a single infrastructure layer.
Launching in phases starting August 2025, the partnership combines World Mobile’s global eSIM technology and decentralized carrier stack alongside Zebec’s real-time payroll and card products, creating a system where mobile access and financial participation operate together with global reach and scale.
A Decentralized Mobile Layer for Programmable Finance
ZebecNET builds on the same architecture that powers other networks in the World Mobile ecosystem, such as Toshi Mobile. At its core is our Decentralized Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (DMVNE) model. This is a full-stack telecom framework that includes eSIM provisioning, carrier licensing, regulatory compliance, and global data coverage.
ZebecNET builds on this foundation with its focus on programmable finance, expanding what the model can support and how far it can reach.
At launch, ZebecNET will be data-only and powered by World Mobile’s global eSIM technology, with expected service across more than 100 countries.
Cards That Bridge Global Connectivity and Financial Inclusion
In August 2025, Zebec will also launch the Zebec Silver and Carbon prepaid debit cards. These cards will be compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay, accepted globally via Mastercard.
In September 2025, a dedicated World Mobile Debit Card will follow. It will be reloadable with WMTx and usable worldwide, also via Mastercard. This card is designed to provide seamless, borderless spending power to users participating in the World Mobile ecosystem.
Timelines and Rollout
The partnership will unfold in the following phases:
- August 2025: Zebec Silver and Carbon card rollout
- September 2025: Launch of the World Mobile Debit Card
- October 2025: ZebecNET beta launch in select markets using World Mobile eSIMs

Reclaiming Power Over Connectivity and Commerce
This partnership offers a blueprint for how decentralized infrastructure can serve both connectivity and commerce without compromise. It does not reinvent the wheel. It aligns telecom and finance - two systems that work better together.
And by aligning them, it gives people the infrastructure to reclaim power over how they connect, transact, and grow, without waiting for the delayed attention of legacy systems.
If you're building something that needs global reach, payment rails, or user-scale coordination, the tools are here. The partnerships are forming. And infrastructure to reclaim power is gathering unstoppable momentum.
Join the network. Reclaim Power. Build with us.
